Diagnosis
The infold of the rostrum with relatively few (4-5) bristles. The second podomere of the first antenna has only a single dorsal seta. The endopodite of the second antenna is reduced to a single podomere. The seventh limb has only 6-14 setae. The caudal furca has 6-10 pairs of claws setae, the third is slimmer than the fourth.
Remarks
This family consists of six genera, but only two species have been reported from the region.
