Diagnosis
Length female 2.15-2.6mm, male similar. Kornicker, 1987 gives a thorough redescription of this species from the Skagerrak. It has been widely recorded in the Northeastern Atlantic, from Mauretania in the south as far north as Bear Island and the Barents Sea. It appears to be an epibenthic species inhabiting depths of 50-1000m, but is most abundant at about 200m.

Remarks
This is one of the fifteen species within the Cypridinidae which are not keyed-out in this program.
